Who processes the data
Clipper Greygoose is a personal tool built and used by its sole owner. It has no other users and is not offered to third parties.
Data used
TikTok account. Authorisation provides an account ID and a public nickname, displayed on the publishing screen to show which account the video will be posted to.
Access token. Stored in a local file on the owner's computer, accessible to the owner only.
Videos. Clips cut from public YouTube videos, kept locally until the owner chooses to publish them.
Third-party services
Google Gemini. A low-resolution copy of the clip is sent to assess its quality. No TikTok token, ID or account data is sent.
YouTube Data API. Used to search public videos and publish to the owner's own channel. Unrelated to TikTok data.
What is never done
No TikTok data is sold, shared or sent to third parties. No data from other TikTok users is collected. No advertising tracking. No developer server stores any data.
Retention
The token stays valid while the authorisation is active. The owner can revoke it at any time from TikTok account settings.
Rights
As the only user and only data subject, the owner can delete local files and revoke access at any time.
